About me

Hi!

Thanks for visiting my site. I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. First off, I’ve worked in mental health now for going on 10 years. I’ve worked in a wide variety of settings ranging from inpatient mental health to clinics to residential settings. I believe this gives me an advantage in that I can work with you no matter what position you’re in.

I’m fully licensed to practice in New York State. I went to Canisius College for my undergraduate degree and I got my masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I don’t know of any other mental health counselors in this area with my degree and I’m very happy I have it because it gives me a unique perspective on research, diagnoses, and treatment interventions.

When I’m not thinking about counseling, I love being on the water. I find kayaking to be a wonderful hobby and quiet place to think and reflect.
